We sell genuine New York style bagels which are produced for us locally using artisan methods in a bakery in Drogheda, Co Louth. They are an authentic product made from the finest ingredients. Many try to imitate the genuine New York bagel, but most pale in comparison, merely suggesting an insipid bread roll with a hole. A far cry from our bagels, which are prepared in a time honoured traditional method, using special high gluten flour. The bagels are first boiled and then finished by hearth baking, producing a substantial, chewy, yet crispy bagel.
We offer a selection of our most popular varieties. There are 48 bagels per case and varieties include:
Plain, Poppy Seed, Sesame Seed, Onion, Pumpernickel (a dark rye bagel flavoured with caraway seeds), Wholewheat, Cinnamon and Raisin, Everything (a combination bagel with sesame, poppy, onion, garlic and salt).
We also supply bagels in individual retail packs. They are perfect for retail locations and the following varieties are available: Plain, Poppy Seed, Sesame Seed, Cinnamon and Raisin, Onion, Wholewheat and Everything.
