We opened itsa4 restaurant, on the green in Sandymount Dublin 4 in December 2005. Our aim was, and still is, to be a neighbourhood restaurant with a strong emphasis on Irish suppliers, comforting and nutritional food available at reasonable prices. We also wanted to create a family-friendly restaurant that can be enjoyed by all generations.

 Our wine list also reflects our commitment to selecting goods from small, dedicated suppliers who are passionate about their work. We try to build the itsa4 menu around seasonal foods, and our raw ingredients are the inspiration for each dish. We don't take short-cuts, and we believe that as a business we have corporate responsibility to our customers and staff.

We are members of Good Food Ireland and as a member we are committed to prioritising the core indigenous ingredients of Irish cuisine and promoting local and artisan food producers.  We are also members of the Restaurants Association of Ireland and supporters of Euroqtoques Ireland an "organisation of chefs and cooks committed to a philosophy of quality food sourcing"
